Educor Services is recruiting a Head Teacher for Trident Preparatory Solwezi, part of the Trident group of schools offering British international curriculum education to both Zambian and expatriate students. Established in 2013, the co-educational day school serves over 130 pupils from Early Years to Year 6 and is located within the scenic Kansanshi Golf Estate in Solwezi. The school provides a safe, close-knit learning environment with access to excellent sporting facilities and encourages independence.

The Opportunity
Educor Services is seeking an outstanding Head Teacher to lead Trident Preparatory Solwezi from January 2027. This is an exciting opportunity for a visionary and dynamic leader to build on recent successes and drive the school forward, enhancing its academic achievements, community engagement, and long-term sustainability.

The new Head Teacher will oversee academic excellence and nurture the school’s role as a cultural and social anchor for families in the wider community. The school is looking for a leader who will actively engage with parents, local organisations, and key stakeholders to ensure TPS remains a centre of excellence in education, extracurricular activities, and holistic child development.

Key Responsibilities
– Provide strategic leadership to sustain and enhance academic standards, student development, and operational efficiency.
– Inspire and lead a team of dedicated educators, fostering collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
– Strengthen community ties by engaging with parents, local businesses, and stakeholders to expand the school’s impact.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have:
– A Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate degree in education or a related field.
– A proven track record of senior leadership experience, preferably in an African international school setting.
– Strong strategic and financial acumen to drive sustainable school growth.
– Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage a multicultural community.
– A deep understanding of the Cambridge curriculum and experience using technology to enhance learning.
– A passion for education and commitment to Trident Schools’ values of responsibility, respect, integrity, innovation, and industry.
