BRANCH HEAD – EXTERNAL ADVERT

JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is:

To provide operational support to the branch which includes coordination and supervision of branch personnel to ensure compliance with internal processes and procedures
To ensure the efficiency of services to all key Stakeholders and Clients.
To be responsible for the implementation of the processes, general administration and of the branch operations.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Ensure the branch is always in an operational state so as to efficiently and effectively serve clients.
Research and conduct market surveys to recommend on developments of lending policies
Responsible for the driving of sales through the In-branch and Mobile Operations and meeting set targets.
Identify and build relevant and sustainable relationships that will contribute to the business.
Ensure the delivery of excellent Customer service to all clients by all members of staff in the branch.
Loan processing – To ensure that the Loan issuance procedure and workflows are adhered to at all times.
Security – Responsible for ensuring that the branches are operating in a secure environment (Includes Security personnel to always be present and security systems to be well functional).
Administration – To ensure that the outlook of branches is maintained to acceptable standards and always reflects the company’s brand image in liaison with Administration department.
To support, mentor and develop staff.
Ensuring employees in the branch are trained to be competent in all areas of their job.
Ensuring dual control is observed at all times
Cost management.
Ensure the necessary documentation is attached to the loan contracts.
Ensure loan amounts are processed within the approved limits set by the Credit Unit.
Ensure that the branch is well equipped.
Ensure all branch assets are well maintained and are of good working condition.
To manage and attend to loan statement requests and early settlements.

MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Full grade 12 certificate
Bachelor of Accountancy/Bachelor of Arts/or any other Business discipline

OTHER SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in the financial sector
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to deal with people of all levels
A team player with good initiatives and assertiveness
Energetic and Enthusiastic
A self-motivator who is keen on upgrading and improving personal knowledge & skills to meet evolving job requirements
High level of integrity and confidentiality
