About the Role – WASH Coordinator Jobs in Kitwe

As a WASH Coordinator, you will collaborate closely with subnational offices of the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, and Local Government to implement, monitor, and evaluate WASH interventions in schools aligned with approved project frameworks. You will represent the project at district technical working groups and committees, ensuring timely delivery of program objectives and capturing best practices and lessons learned. Reporting to the Head of Programs and Operations, you will also work alongside technical specialists in education and health.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the WASH team in Kitwe.
• Support the development and review of engineering designs and hygiene promotion programs.
• Promote adherence to standard technical guidelines and high-quality WASH approaches.
• Coordinate with government stakeholders to align activities with national priorities.
• Manage budget responsibilities related to WASH interventions.
• Document and disseminate key lessons and program outcomes.
