Reporting To: Warehouse Manager

Location: Lusaka

Job Purpose

To supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch of goods in line with company procedures, safety standards, and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, loading, and dispatch of goods.
• Ensure proper stock management and maintain accurate inventory records at all times.
• Monitor stock movement and conduct routine stock counts and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures relating to inventory control, safety, and housekeeping standards.
• Coordinate timely loading and offloading of products to support uninterrupted distribution operations.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse reports.
• Supervise warehouse staff and ensure discipline, productivity, and adherence to operational procedures.
• Investigate and report stock variances, damages, and operational challenges.
• Ensure proper arrangement and storage of products to minimize losses and damages.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure efficient product flow and customer service delivery.
• Enforce health and safety standards within the warehouse environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or any related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ proven experience in warehouse operations or inventory management in a busy environment.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes and inventory control systems.
• Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
