Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor will play a critical role in overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient receipt, storage, inventory management, and dispatch of goods. This position is based in Lusaka and requires a hands-on leader who can maintain operational standards and promote safety and productivity. Key Responsibilities for Warehouse Supervisor Jobs in Lusaka Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, loading, and dispatch of goods. Maintain accurate stock records and ensure proper inventory control at all times. Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies promptly. Ensure compliance with company procedures concerning inventory, safety protocols, and housekeeping standards. Coordinate timely loading and offloading to support seamless distribution operations. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse performance reports. Lead and manage warehouse staff, fostering discipline and adherence to operational procedures. Investigate and report stock variances, damages, and operational issues. Organize storage to minimize losses and product damage. Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient product flow and excellent customer service. Enforce health and safety standards within the warehouse environment. Qualifications and Experience Required Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields. At least three years of proven experience in warehouse operations or inventory management in a busy setting. Strong understanding of warehouse processes and inventory control systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet operational deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
