About the Role: Veterinarian Jobs in Luanshya

As a contracted veterinarian at Goldenlay Agri Ltd, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the health and productivity of our poultry stock. Your responsibilities will focus on disease prevention, bio-security, and optimizing poultry husbandry to ensure the highest standards of animal welfare and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure pullets and layers remain free from disease risks through vigilant health monitoring.
• Maintain and administer comprehensive vaccination programs and schedules.
• Manage and enforce all bio-security protocols to prevent disease outbreaks.
• Conduct routine sampling aligned with established veterinary programs.
• Optimize the genetic potential of chickens by overseeing appropriate husbandry practices.
• Oversee the veterinary office, including managing stocks and consumables efficiently.
• Perform daily post-mortem examinations to monitor flock health.
• Carry out additional veterinary duties as required to support the company’s objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Full Grade 12 Certificate.
• Degree in Veterinary Medicine from a recognized institution.
• Valid registration with the relevant professional veterinary body.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Mature, responsible, and committed to high professional standards.
