Position Overview – Truck Driver (30 Openings)

Based in Chambishi and Kitwe, this full-time role within our Fleet Department requires responsible candidates to operate company trucks safely on both local and international routes. The primary objective is to ensure the timely delivery of cargo while adhering strictly to company policies, road safety standards, and regional transport regulations.

Key Responsibilities for Truck Drivers

Operate heavy-duty trucks safely on assigned routes

Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

Maintain accurate trip and cargo documentation

Handle Proof of Delivery (POD) documents correctly

Maintain regular communication with the Fleet Manager

Comply with traffic laws, border regulations, and company policies

Ensure cleanliness, safety, and security of the assigned vehicle

Exemplify professionalism and uphold high customer service standards

Requirements and Qualifications

Successful completion of the relevant driving assessment

Valid Class D driving licence

Minimum of 4 years’ driving experience, including at least 2 years on international routes

Minimum age of 27 years

Good physical and mental health

Clean criminal record

Valid certified fingerprints with at least six months’ validity

Successful completion of company background verification

Possession of valid Dangerous Goods Certificates (BELSAM, ITC, or ENEC)

Driving Test and Application Process

Driving tests will be held from 16th April to 30th April 2026 at the Chambishi Yard. Candidates may also visit our Kitwe Head Office located at Mudzi House, after the ZRA Office along Independence Avenue Road. Successful applicants will be expected to commence work immediately.

Proof of literacy (ability to read and write)

Certified fingerprints

Valid passport copy (including border stamps where applicable)

Dangerous Goods Certificate

Valid CE-Class or PSV licence (if applicable)

Recent medical report

BELSAM, ENAC, or ITC certification

Copy of National Registration Card (NRC)

At least three traceable references from previous employers
