About the Trainers Jobs in Lumwana
As a Trainer with Stefanutti Stocks Construction (Z) Ltd, you will develop and deliver comprehensive training programs focused on mobile machinery operation and construction trades. You will be responsible for creating effective learning materials, conducting on-the-job training, and assessing learner performance to ensure high standards of competency and safety are met.
Your role will also include aligning training activities with Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) policies to achieve safety targets, and applying ISO-compliant assessment methodologies to maintain quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop training materials and methods tailored to construction and mining disciplines.
- Deliver presentations and practical demonstrations on mobile machinery skills.
- Conduct training sessions, evaluate learners, and perform outcome-based assessments.
- Ensure compliance with SHE standards and promote a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation in line with ISO standards.
- Support continuous improvement by implementing agreed strategic training objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12 certificate with at least 5 credits.
- Diploma in Engineering (Construction) or a related field.
- Minimum five years’ experience operating mobile construction plant operations.
- Certified Trainer qualification by TEVETA is mandatory.
- Certificate in Teaching Methodologies is advantageous.
- Proven experience in mining, building, or construction training disciplines.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of relevant statutory legislation, coaching, and mentoring capabilities.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with training aids and hands-on construction trade experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
- Analytical and strategic thinking with attention to detail.
- Sound understanding of Health and Safety regulations and ethical work practices.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work well within teams.
