We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Team Leader to lead a strategic systems integration project. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the technical implementation team, overseeing delivery timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring successful integration of backend and frontend systems in line with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and responsibility for the project deliverables, quality assurance, and timelines.
• Coordinate communication and engagement with stakeholders, partners, and project teams.
• Lead and manage technical experts, including planning and supervision of assignments.
• Oversee data collection, analysis, validation, and reporting activities.
• Analyze and define requirements for interfacing modules and system integrations.
• Develop and supervise backend interfacing modules using Java technologies and microservices architecture.
• Lead frontend development using the latest Angular development framework and UX standards.
• Ensure integration of web services and seamless interaction between user interface layers and application logic.
• Organize and supervise unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Ensure proper technical documentation and compliance with required development standards.
• Provide regular project progress reports and technical updates.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• A first-level university degree combined with extensive relevant experience may be considered.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken).

Experience & Technical Requirements

• Minimum seven (7) years of progressive experience in systems planning, design, development, implementation, and maintenance.
• Strong expertise in Java Programming

• Micro-services architecture
• Proven experience with: Oracle Database Management Systems
• Eclipse IDE
• Docker
• Swagger
• JBoss WildFly Swarm
• JUnit and related testing frameworks
• Subversion and collaborative development tools
• Experience developing enterprise system interfaces and integrations will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrated experience leading software development teams and managing technical projects.
• Experience working within development cooperation or donor-funded projects will be an added advantage. Key Competencies

• Number of Experts Required:
• Engagement Period: Immediate commencement up to 30 November 2026
• Consultancy Duration: 60 fee days.
