CIVIC EDUCATION TEACHER

Location: Plot 1310/4, Kamenza East, Chililabombwe, Zambia
Position Type: Full-Time

Requirements
– Diploma or Degree in Education, Civic Education, or Social Sciences.
– Registered with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ).
– Strong knowledge of the Zambian Civic Education curriculum.
– Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching and Instruction
– Plan and deliver engaging Civic Education lessons.
– Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and learning materials.
– Promote civic values, leadership, and responsible citizenship.
– Adapt teaching methods to diverse learner needs.

Assessment and Records
– Set, mark, and record continuous assessments and examinations.
– Monitor and report on learner progress.
– Maintain accurate academic records and mark books.
– Prepare learners for national examinations.

School and Community Engagement
– Support extracurricular and civic-awareness activities.
– Participate in staff meetings and school events.
– Foster a safe, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment.
– Engage with parents and guardians on learner development.
