Position Overview: Safety Officer Role in Kalulushi

As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive health and safety plans that align with legal guidelines. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of safety by preparing policies, assessing workplace risks, and ensuring adherence to safety laws. Your duties will include conducting training sessions, monitoring compliance, and investigating incidents to improve preventive measures.

Key Responsibilities for Safety Officer Jobs in Kalulushi

• Develop and execute workplace health and safety plans in accordance with legal requirements.
• Prepare and implement policies to cultivate a strong health and safety culture.
• Evaluate operational practices, procedures, and facilities to identify risks and ensure compliance.

Candidate Requirements and Qualifications

• Must be a Zambian resident of Kitwe or Kalulushi.
• Possess a degree or diploma in Health and Safety.
• Have a minimum of four years’ experience in health and safety, preferably within the transport sector.
• Membership in a recognized safety body is required.
