About the Reservationist Role
The Grand Savoy Hotel is seeking two full-time Reservationists to join its Reservations and Front Office team. This role is essential in ensuring seamless guest experiences from booking through check-in. While full-time employment is preferred, part-time arrangements may be considered depending on suitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage reservation requests received via phone, email, walk-in guests, and online platforms promptly and accurately.
- Create and update bookings using the hotel’s reservation system, confirming guest details such as names, dates, room preferences, and any special requirements.
- Handle cancellations, rescheduling, and modifications in line with hotel policies.
- Provide guests with precise information regarding room availability, rates, and hotel services.
- Collaborate closely with front desk and other departments to facilitate smooth guest check-ins.
- Maintain accurate and confidential reservation records in compliance with data protection standards.
- Deliver outstanding customer service consistently, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Candidate Requirements for Reservationist Jobs in Ndola
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation.
- Basic computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn hotel reservation software.
- Professional phone etiquette and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
