About the Production Supervisor Role

As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process at our milling facility that manufactures a variety of feed products. You will ensure that all products meet established quality specifications while continuously driving improvements in production efficiency and safety.

Your leadership will be critical in managing production activities and personnel, ensuring adherence to scheduled timelines, and maintaining compliance with quality control standards. You will also be tasked with inventory management of raw materials and packaging, as well as the preparation of detailed production reports for senior management.

Key Responsibilities for Production Supervisor Jobs in Lusaka

Supervise and coordinate production processes and team members to meet daily production targets.
Ensure compliance with quality control procedures and safety regulations throughout the production cycle.
Manage inventory of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods, ensuring accurate reconciliation.
Train and mentor production staff in the operation of machinery and equipment to enhance productivity.
Monitor and update production schedules to guarantee timely delivery of products.
Prepare and submit daily and weekly production reports to immediate supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience Required

Minimum of a Grade 12 school certificate.
Diploma in Milling Studies or a related field.
At least three (3) years of proven experience in a similar supervisory role within the milling or feed production industry.
Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
