Position Overview

The Packerman will be responsible for packaging various manufactured products into labeled bags according to specified weights and types, ensuring all packaging is secure and meets quality standards. Key Responsibilities for Packerman Jobs in Lusaka

• Package manufactured products into designated bags according to weight and product type, ensuring all packaging is secure and intact.
• Verify that expiration and manufacturing dates are clearly marked on all packaged products.
• Conduct visual inspections to detect contamination or defects and promptly report any non-conformances to the supervisor.
• Follow the packing schedule precisely to maintain product quality and prevent contamination.
• Arrange and stack packaged products carefully on pallets to prevent damage during storage and transport.
• Ensure all packaged products are free from foreign matter and damage, taking responsibility for any anomalies identified.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment at all times.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of a Grade 12 school certificate or equivalent.
• At least three (3) years of experience in a similar packaging role.
• Ability to work efficiently, maintain quality standards, and adhere to safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining product integrity.
