Available Positions: Stores Assistant

The Stores Assistant will play a vital role in managing the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and supplies within the company’s stores. This position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining accurate stock records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming materials and supplies for quality and accuracy.
• Record all stock received and issued using the stores register or inventory system.
• Ensure proper storage and systematic arrangement of items in the store.
• Prepare and issue materials to authorized staff members.
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist with stock reconciliation processes.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the stores area.
• Report damaged, missing, or low stock items promptly to management.
• Assist with loading and offloading goods as needed.
• Ensure all store documents and records are accurately filed and maintained.
• Follow company safety procedures and store control measures at all times.
• Support audits and stock verification exercises, including monitoring expiry dates where applicable.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Grade 12 Certificate is required.
• Certificate or Diploma in Stores Management, Purchasing & Supply, Logistics, or related field is advantageous.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in stores or warehouse operations preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and stock management systems.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Honest, reliable, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Available Positions: Diesel Mechanic

We are also seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair diesel vehicles and equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety. This role demands practical mechanical expertise and the ability to diagnose faults accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in diesel engines, vehicles, and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and servicing of diesel engines.
• Repair or replace defective engine parts, including transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and hydraulic systems.
• Conduct inspections and testing to ensure vehicles and equipment are in optimal condition.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and downtime.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Ensure proper maintenance of tools and workshop equipment.
• Respond promptly to field breakdowns and emergency repairs when required.
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures and workshop regulations.
• Report major defects and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and orderly workshop environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Grade 12 Certificate is required.
• Craft Certificate or Diploma in Diesel Mechanics, Heavy Equipment Repair, or related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance preferred.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
