Established in 2015, Lusaka Fitness Squad has grown into Zambia’s largest running club, boasting hundreds of members and multiple satellite groups. We organize major running events that attract local and international participants, fostering a strong community spirit and promoting healthy lifestyles throughout Lusaka and beyond.

Role Overview for Multimedia Designer Jobs in Lusaka

As a Multimedia Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the visual identity of Lusaka Fitness Squad. Your primary focus will be on graphic design, complemented by photography and videography to capture the energy of our runs, races, and events. This position demands creativity, technical proficiency, and the ability to produce engaging content across multiple digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Graphic Design (70%): Develop high-quality posters, flyers, banners, race bib concepts, certificates, event branding, and social media graphics that reflect the Lusaka Fitness Squad’s brand identity.
• Create captivating visual campaigns for club runs, races, sponsor activations, and fitness initiatives.
• Ensure consistent branding across all digital and print platforms.
• Produce creative content tailored for Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other social media channels.
• Design motion graphics and simple animations when required.
• Photography (20%): Capture high-quality images during club runs, races, training sessions, and events, then edit and optimize them for various uses including social media and promotional materials.
• Maintain an organized digital archive of all photographic content.
• Videography & Reels (10%): Film short-form videos and behind-the-scenes footage to create engaging reels and highlight videos optimized for social media platforms.
• Support live event storytelling with quick-turnaround video content.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Communication Design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar software.
• Strong visual storytelling skills and experience creating social media content.
• Good photography and basic videography abilities.
• Ability to produce trendy and engaging social media reels.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to perform well under pressure during events.
• Experience with sports, fitness, lifestyle, or event brands is advantageous.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and race days.
