About the Logistics Manager Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, the Logistics Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of logistics and distribution across Solar Panda’s operational hubs. This role ensures the smooth movement of goods, inventory accuracy, and compliance with transportation regulations while maintaining cost-effective and safe logistics practices.
The successful candidate will coordinate transportation schedules, supervise stock distribution, monitor logistics performance, and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers. By optimizing supply chain processes and minimizing delays, this position plays a vital role in supporting the company’s business continuity and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities for Logistics Manager Jobs in Lusaka
- Manage daily logistics operations including transportation scheduling, dispatch, delivery tracking, and documentation.
- Coordinate stock and asset movement across company hubs and operational sites.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve logistics efficiency and reduce operational costs.

- Perform additional duties as assigned by management aligned with the role’s responsibilities.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- Diploma or Degree in Transport and Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in logistics management or supply chain operations.
- Valid Class C1 driver’s license is an advantage.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with logistics management systems and GPS tracking technologies.
- Knowledge of Zambian transportation and logistics regulations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven leadership and multitasking skills with the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
