Mopani Copper Mines PLC is inviting applications from qualified and safety-driven professionals to fill multiple Safety Officer positions. This role is key in promoting and maintaining high occupational health and safety standards across mining operations.

🔹 Key Responsibilities
• Enforce health and safety policies and procedures
• Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and audits
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and PPE usage
• Deliver safety training and support emergency procedures
• Maintain safety records and reports

🔹 Requirements
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Diploma in Occupational Health, Safety & Environment
• Minimum 2 years’ experience (mining environment preferred)
• Knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 standards
• Valid Blasting Licence
• Membership with ZOHSA
• ZAQA certified qualifications
