Zambeef Products PLC, one of the largest agribusiness and food processing companies in Southern Africa, is inviting applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Environmental Health & Safety Controller at its Kitwe Processing Plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive implementation of EHS standards in line with ISO 45001, 14001 & 39001
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations
• Conduct workplace risk assessments and enforce safety standards
• Liaise with ZEMA and other regulatory authorities
• Coordinate EHS audits, sustainability reporting, and ESG programs
• Promote energy efficiency, waste reduction, and environmental sustainability
• Conduct EHS training and support safe workplace practices

Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or Environmental Sciences
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in environmental or EHS management
• Membership with EIZ, ZOHSA, or relevant professional body
• Strong communication, leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills
