Safety Officer Jobs in Chambishi – Key Requirements

Candidates interested in safety officer jobs in Chambishi must meet the following criteria:

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
• Hold valid safety certification; membership with the Zambia Occupational Health and Safety Association (ZOHSA) is advantageous
• Have a minimum of two years’ experience in mining, construction, or heavy industry environments
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Zambian Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) laws and risk assessment procedures
• Exhibit strong communication skills, including report writing

Welder Position Requirements

Applicants for the welder positions should fulfill the following:

• Possess a valid TEVETA or equivalent welding trade test certificate
• Have at least two years of practical experience in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding techniques
• Be proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Understand and adhere to safety procedures related to hot works and working at heights
