JCHX Mining Construction Zambia Limited, Lubambe Shaft Project, is inviting suitable, qualified, and experienced candidates for the position of LHD Operator.

Job Summary
The role involves operating JCHX Kingant underground 7T diesel KAT307 LHD equipment during shaft sinking operations, ensuring efficient loading and hauling of excavated material and supporting underground operational activities.

Responsibilities
– Load and haul blasted rock from the excavation area after drilling and blasting.
– Assist in transporting essential underground materials such as steel supports and piping.
– Discharge loads into a pass or stockpile.
– Carry out duties in line with mine safety regulations.
– Conduct mandatory pre-shift and post-shift inspections.
– Report all mechanical issues immediately.
– Perform any other tasks as instructed by the supervisor.

Requirements
– Grade 12 Certificate.
– Valid Competence Certificate, Sandvik/Epiroc.
– Demonstrated experience operating articulated underground loaders (LHD).
– Knowledge of machine and equipment maintenance.
– Previous experience in a shaft sinking project is an added advantage.
– Valid Silicosis Certificate.
– Physically fit.
