About the Internal Auditor Role

The Internal Auditor will play a pivotal role in supporting the Internal Audit Department by conducting comprehensive financial, operational, IT, and systems audits. The successful candidate will contribute to enhancing governance frameworks, improving risk management processes, ensuring compliance, and driving operational efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities for Internal Auditor Jobs in Lusaka

• Conduct financial and operational audits to evaluate the effectiveness of controls and procedures.
• Perform IT and systems audits to assess information systems integrity and security.
• Support risk management initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for systems and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

• Grade 12 Certificate with at least five ‘O’ Level passes, including Mathematics and English.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Auditing, IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as ZICA, ACCA, CIMA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, COBIT, or ISO/IEC 27001 are highly desirable.
• A minimum of five years’ relevant experience in Internal Audit, IT Audit, Systems Audit, or Risk Management.
• Experience within the insurance or financial services sector will be considered an advantage.
