About the Insurance Manager Role

The successful candidate will take ownership of the company’s insurance portfolio, ensuring comprehensive coverage of assets, operations, and exposures. This role involves managing insurance-related risks, coordinating policies, and maintaining strong relationships with insurance providers and brokers. Key Responsibilities for Insurance Manager Jobs in Lusaka

• Manage all insurance and claims activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Gather and evaluate information related to insurance and risk across company functions.
• Negotiate with stakeholders and insurance providers to secure optimal terms and reduce costs.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by Executive Management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least five (5) years of relevant experience in insurance management, risk management, or a similar capacity.
• Comprehensive knowledge of insurance principles, claims management, and risk assessment.
• Familiarity with the Zambian insurance regulatory framework.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
