About the Role – HR Administrative Assistant Jobs in Lusaka

As an HR & Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth HR operations and compliance with statutory regulations. Your expertise will support both local and international staff, contributing to the efficient management of employee records and government-related processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage registrations and statutory compliance for NAPSA, NHIMA, and PAYE.
  • Maintain and update comprehensive employee databases and HR records.
  • Assist Chinese staff with work permits, visa renewals, and immigration procedures.
  • Coordinate National Registration Card (NRC) applications and liaise with government agencies.
  • Audit attendance records and support payroll preparation processes.
  • Prepare detailed HR reports, statistical analyses, and other relevant documentation.
  • Organize employment contracts and maintain accurate staff files.
  • Facilitate external liaison and government relations activities.
  • Supervise staff discipline, manage camp administration, and provide logistics support.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience in HR and administrative roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Zambian labour laws and statutory procedures.
  • Familiarity with NAPSA, NHIMA, and Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with strong reporting and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and professional conduct.
