Position Overview

As a Health & Safety (OHS) Officer, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining a robust occupational health and safety framework.   • Maintain meticulous safety records and generate statistical reports to inform management decisions.
  • Immediately intervene and report any unsafe acts or processes to prevent accidents.

Candidate Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, or a related discipline.
  • Certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or an equivalent qualification is advantageous.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a safety-focused role is preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and training skills to effectively engage with all levels of staff.
  • Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and remain composed under pressure.

Essential Competencies

  • Proficient in risk assessment and hazard identification techniques.
  • Skilled in incident investigation and accurate reporting.
  • Experienced in delivering safety training and raising awareness.
  • Demonstrated leadership with strong enforcement of safety standards.
  • Analytical thinker with excellent report writing skills.
