Sunda International is actively seeking two dedicated and results-driven professionals for the role of Eastern & Southern FMCG Sales Specialist. These positions offer a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about sales to contribute to expanding our footprint across Southern Zambia. The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, nurturing customer relationships, and ensuring the effective execution of sales and promotional activities throughout the Eastern and Southern regions.

About the Eastern & Southern FMCG Sales Specialist Role

As an FMCG sales specialist, you will be responsible for a wide range of activities aimed at boosting market presence and achieving sales targets. Your role will involve frequent customer visits to secure orders and support retail operations, along with gathering market intelligence to stay ahead of competitors. You will also oversee the implementation of promotional campaigns and develop vehicle-based sales strategies to grow terminal and end customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities for FMCG Sales Specialist Jobs in Southern Zambia

  • Regularly visit customers to secure orders and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Conduct retail outlet visits to address terminal demands and promptly resolve after-sales issues.
  • Perform market visits to collect competitor data and monitor evolving market trends.
  • Implement and ensure effective execution of company promotional activities in the field.
  • Engage in vehicle-based sales activities to develop and expand terminal and end customer accounts.
  • Collect payments and reconcile customer accounts accurately and within stipulated timelines.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to support sustained business growth.
  • Provide timely and detailed market and sales feedback reports to management.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in FMCG sales is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A strong passion for sales combined with excellent execution and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the Eastern and Southern regions.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management capabilities.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of performing effectively under pressure.
  • Strong teamwork orientation and interpersonal skills.
