About the Chef Role

Reporting directly to the Lodge Manager or Operations Manager, the Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of meal preparation and kitchen operations. The successful candidate will lead menu planning, food preparation, inventory management, and ensure the highest standards of hygiene and customer satisfaction are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities for Chef Jobs in Mumbwa

• Prepare and present meals that meet lodge quality standards and guest expectations.
• Design and update menus reflecting guest preferences and seasonal ingredients.
• Manage kitchen operations, including supervising staff and maintaining cleanliness.

Working Environment and Expectations

This role operates in a fast-paced lodge environment where standing for extended periods is required. The Chef may work evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet guest needs.
