Proflight Zambia invites applications for the role of Aircraft Maintenance Planner based at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport, Lusaka. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to join our Maintenance & Engineering team on a fixed-term contract. Candidates will play a vital role in planning and scheduling aircraft maintenance activities while ensuring strict compliance with aviation safety standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities for Aircraft Maintenance Planner Jobs in Lusaka
Develop and maintain comprehensive aircraft maintenance schedules aligned with regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date aircraft records using specialized tracking systems.
Ensure traceability and certification compliance for all aircraft documentation.
Support internal and external audits through meticulous documentation and record management.
Coordinate maintenance activities effectively with engineers and relevant stakeholders.
Document all maintenance activities promptly and with precision.
Review and update maintenance manuals and technical data as necessary.
Monitor maintenance progress and analyze performance metrics to support operational efficiency.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance planning process.
Keep abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in the aviation industry.
Qualifications and Experience
Certificate or Diploma in Maintenance Planning or a related technical field.
Minimum of one year experience in maintenance planning or a similar role.
Familiarity with aviation regulations and industry best practices is advantageous.
Proficiency with maintenance tracking and management systems.
Strong organizational and record-keeping capabilities.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Competent computer skills, including standard office software.
