Job description

·   Roles and Responsibilities:

The Accountant will assist in maintaining;

·        Cashbook

·        Ledger Accounts on a monthly basis

·        Weekly presentation of cash and bank balances

·        Banking/deposits, withdrawals and disbursements

·        Filing and updating of financial documents

·        Preparation of Bank reconciliation statements

·        Preparation of quarterly financial reports

·        Debt Collection

·        Any other assignments designated by the Director

The candidate must have:

§ Full Grade 12 (Form V)qualification

§ Degree in Accountancy/Finance or final stage of ACCA/CIMA/ZICA from a recognized training institution

§ Knowledge in digital payment platform

§ Excellent oral and written communication skills

§ Interest in the Arts

§ Working experience in accounting will be an added advantage

§ Member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants(ZICA)
