Atosh Transport was incorporated on 21 September 1989 and during that, time has accumulated a vast experience in this sector. The company is running a good fleet of trucks engaged in both dry and wet (fuel) cargo.

Therefore, the Company invites applications from highly motivated, result-oriented, suitably qualified and experienced professionals to fill the following vacancy:

Key Responsibilities

Workshop Management:

·      Supervise and manage all activities within the maintenance/workshop department.

·      Oversee the daily operations of the workshop, including repair and maintenance of the fleet.

·      Recruit, train, and lead a team of technicians and mechanics.

·      Provide guidance and support to ensure efficient and high-quality work.

·      Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.

·      Ensure timely repairs and servicing of all vehicles to minimize downtime.

·      Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies, ensuring availability for maintenance and repairs.

·      Establish procurement processes for necessary workshop supplies.

·      Ensure the workshop and maintenance operations adhere to all safety regulations and HSSEQ standards.

·      Conduct safety training and enforce safety protocols for all workshop personnel.

·      Implement quality control measures to maintain high repair and maintenance standards.

·      Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of work.

·      Monitor and control departmental expenses to optimize cost-effectiveness.

·      Identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining quality.

·      Maintain workshop equipment and tools in good working order.

·      Evaluate the need for upgrades or replacements as necessary.

·      Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs for each vehicle.

·      Provide regular reports on the condition of the fleet and workshop operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·      Minimum Diploma in Mechanics (degree will be added advantage)

·      5 years’ experience in Supervisory role

·      Computer literacy is necessary, our workshop management system is Computer based.

·      Experience in Volvo and Chinese Trucks will be added advantage

·      Proven experience in maintenance and workshop management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

·      Able to use diagnostic tools and software’s

·      Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair processes, and safety regulations.

·      Excellent leadership and team management skills.

·      Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

·      Good reporting skills

·      Knowledge of HSSEQ standards and their application in workshop operations.
