Job description

Wildlife Solar Electric Fences for Climate Village Lab (GEO & KfW Foundation Cofinanced).
Conservation Lower Zambezi (CLZ) invites reputable companies to bid for the supply, installation, and community training on wildlife solar electric fences for 3 Climate Village Lab community farms:

– Kamambo village : community farms sizes :  farm  block A : 1729.32m / farm block B : 1682.82m

– Mugurameno village : community farm size : 6725m

– Chimusambo village : community farm  size : 894.307m

– Terrain : along the Zambezi and Kafue river 50m away .

 

Scope of  Work :

Supply and Install: Robust elephant proof and hippo solar electric fencing systems suitable for rural Zambia conditions.
Training: Local community capacity building on installation, operation, and maintenance of solar electric fences.
Deliverables: High-quality systems ensuring effective wildlife deterrence, durable, low maintenance.
Company Requirements :
– Insurance: Valid company insurance coverage.

– References: Up to 3-4 traceable references of similar projects.

– Tax Clearance: ZRA tax clearance certificate.

– Registration: Formal registration with PACRA.

– Experience: Evidence of relevant experience (climate resilience, wildlife management).

– Profile: Approved business profile from reputable government agencies.

– Quality & Timeliness: Commitment to high-quality, timely delivery.
