Job description
Company: Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD)
Position: WFD Representative
Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Contract: August 2026 – March 2027, with possibility of extension
Remuneration: GBP 1,100 – GBP 1,600 per month
Time Commitment: 50-80 hours per month
Application Deadline: 17 July 2026
WFD is seeking an individual or organisation to represent WFD in Zambia as it explores opportunities to strengthen engagement and support democratic governance.
Role Overview
- Identify partnership and funding opportunities.
- Engage key stakeholders across Zambia’s governance sector.
- Support future programme development and WFD presence in Zambia.
- Work closely with WFD’s Africa team.
Candidate Profile
- Significant experience in democracy, governance, parliamentary strengthening, political participation, public policy, or related fields.
- Strong networks across Zambia’s governance sector.
