Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid position for a  Water Engineer based in Ndola, with flexibility for some remote work. The Water Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining systems related to  water supply, wastewater treatment, and water distribution. Tasks will include overseeing pump stations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, evaluating performance metrics, and collaborating with teams to address water treatment challenges and provide efficient solutions.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Water reticulation systems
Expertise in Water Distribution systems and pump station operations
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills related to water infrastructure design and optimization
Must have hands on the job experience
Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications
Working knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance in the water engineering field
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with diverse teams
A Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Experience in fire safety or similar industries is an advantage but not mandatory
Driving licence and able to drive manual transmission
