Warehouse Supervisor

Job description

The role of a Warehouse Supervisor is to supervise staff, securing warehouse, maintaining and overseeing inventory and supplies by receiving, storing and delivering items.

The Key Responsibilities and Critical Success Measures are;

Be self-motivated with a high degree of integrity & be able to perform job duties with minimal supervision on a timely basis
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as basic math skills
Have Past job performance that reflects dependability, maturity, initiative, personal demeanor, & the ability to exercise sound judgment
Supervise and coordinate the most efficient unloading of inbound shipments, orderly stacking of product, and the picking and staging of outbound shipments in accordance with the highest possible levels of quality
Direct the operations of the assigned work team to achieve prescribed objectives
Ensure deadlines are met daily and manage time efficiently and effectively to coordinate workload and maintain operational intensity.
Anticipate, communicate and resolve internal and external issues that could affect the warehouse optimization
Have Keen Attention to Detail

The Essentials:

Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or relevant fields.
Grade Twelve (12) Certificate
Forklift Operation Certification is an added advantage
Commercial Driver’s License is an added advantage
Two (2) years of relevant work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role
Customer Service Experience
Experience in the FMCG industry is an added advantage
Previous experience in warehouse and Inventory Management or other related field preferred

This is a full-time position and the successful candidate be available to work weekdays and weekends.
