About the Tracking Operator Role

As a Tracking Operator, you will play a critical role in monitoring live GPS tracking systems and overseeing fleet movements in real time. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the continuous operation of tracking systems and maintaining effective communication channels to support fleet management and security operations.

Key Responsibilities for Tracking Operator Jobs in Lusaka

  • Monitor and manage live GPS tracking data for fleet movement and security compliance.
  • Maintain operational readiness of tracking systems and communication tools.
  • Respond promptly to any system alerts or irregularities to support fleet safety.
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports on tracking activities and incidents.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven computer literacy, including proficiency with tracking software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Possession of a Diploma or Certificate in IT, Security Operations, Logistics, Transport Management, or a related discipline is advantageous.
  • Availability and willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to write detailed and coherent reports.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, maintaining confidentiality, and situational awareness at all times.
  • Ability to remain composed and make swift, informed decisions under pressure.
