Job description
WaterAid Zambia is an international Non-Governmental Organization dedicated exclusively to the provision of safe domestic water, sanitation and improved hygiene practices to the marginalised communities around the globe. WaterAid Zambia currently operates in three (04) provinces, Lusaka, Southern, Western and Copperbelt Province.
WaterAid Zambia is now inviting sealed bids from eligible Consultants with all relevant qualification to undertake the development of excreta (shit) flow diagrams for Kafubu Water and Sanitation Company’s areas of operation (Ndola, Luanshya, Masaiti and Mpongwe).
Consultants are encouraged to visit and examine the site of works and its surroundings and obtain, at their own risk and responsibility, all information necessary for preparing the bid and entering into contract for the works. The site visit is optional but necessary for collection of information, all related costs shall be at the consultant’s own expense. A margin of preference shall apply following the Preferential Procurement Clause for bidders registered with the Citizen Economic Empowerment Commission (CEEC) in line with ZPPA circular No. 2 of 2011 as follows.
(a) For a citizen influenced company, by four percent (4%)
(b) For a citizen-empowered company, by eight percent (8%)
(c) For a citizen- owned company, by twelve percent (12%)
Terms of Reference (TOR’s) documents can be obtained from the WaterAid office at 21A Middleway, Kabulonga, Lusaka Zambia upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Five Thousand Kwacha (K500.00) for the bid document deposited to this Bank Detail: ACCOUNT NAME: WATERAID ZAMBIA, ACC NUMBER: 0428101500126, BANK NAME: Zambia National Commercial Plc, SWIFT Code: ZNCOZMLUXXX, Local Clearing Code: 010001, BRANCH: CAIRO ROAD. Bidders must obtain an official receipt for their deposit from WaterAid Offices. The official receipt should be part of the bid document submitted.
Bids, appropriately separated as technical and financial proposals, must be emailed to Adamsonsakala@wateraid.org and copy lungibiyela@wateraid.org. Eddychikuta@wateraid.org on or before Tuesday (4th November 2025) at 12:00 hours. All emails must be sent between 11:30-12:00 hours. Our business address is WaterAid Zambia office, 21A Middleway, Kabulonga, Lusaka Zambia . LATE BIDS SHALL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the instructions to bidders contained in the RFP.
