Position: Temporary Building Inspector
Engagement Type: Temporary / Commission Based

Kafue Town Council invites applications from suitably qualified and motivated individuals to serve as Temporary Building Inspectors on a commission basis.

Remuneration: Successful candidates will be paid 10% commission on approved building inspection-related revenue collected by council, subject to Council policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections of buildings and construction activities within Kafue District.
• Identify unapproved and unauthorized development.
• Verify compliance with approved building plans and council regulations.
• Prepare and submit inspection reports.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the council.

Minimum Qualifications

• Full Grade 12 Certificate.
• Must be 18 years old and above.
• Minimum Diploma in Construction.
• Ability to work extensively in the field.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and capable of undertaking field inspections.
• Knowledge of building regulations or construction practice will be an added advantage.
