Job description

Skyrock Labour Consultants is looking to hire on behalf of our client in the ICT Industry a seasoned, highly driven and experienced Business Development Manager and Technical Services Manager to lead its ICT Division, Sales and Marketing Team in Zambia. The ideal candidates will play a key role in driving B2B growth, managing public sector tendering, and Leading and managing pre-sales engineers, solution architects, implementation specialists, and support personnel. Below are stated the key responsibilities and requirements for each position:

1. Business Development Manager – ICT Division

Key Responsibilities
– Lead sales and marketing strategy.
– Drive B2B growth across private and public sectors.
– Oversee tendering and government procurement processes.
– Manage client relationships and develop new business opportunities.
– Use Zoho CRM (or equivalent) for sales tracking and reporting.
– Provide regular reports to Regional Manager and Head Office.

Requirements
– Degree in Business, ICT, or Marketing (MBA is a plus).
– Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development and team leadership.
– Solid knowledge of B2B sales and tendering processes.
– Proficient in Zoho CRM or other CRM tools.
– Strong leadership and communication skills.

2. Technical Services Manager – ICT Division (Zambia)

Key Responsibilities

– Lead and manage pre-sales engineers, solution architects, implementation specialists, and support personnel.
– Provide expert guidance in solution design, proposal development, and client-facing technical presentations.
– Oversee technical delivery and post-sales support to ensure timely and high-quality service.
– Align technical operations with ISO quality management systems and SOPs.
– Collaborate with Head Office and regional offices to maintain delivery consistency and share best practices.
– Serve as the primary technical interface with OEMs, technology vendors, and strategic partners.
– Participate in vendor technical training and certification initiatives.
– Support tender responses and government procurement processes.
– Monitor and report on delivery KPIs, resource utilization, client satisfaction, and issue resolution.

Ideal Candidate Profile
– Degree in ICT, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
– Professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, ISO 9001, Microsoft, Cisco, VMware) are a strong advantage.
– Minimum 5 years’ experience in ICT technical service delivery, with at least 2 years in a management role.
– Strong understanding of pre-sales solution design, service delivery frameworks, and post-sales technical support.
– Experience interfacing with OEMs, vendors, and technology partners.
– Familiarity with ISO standards and service management best practices.
– Proficient in CRM and ticketing systems, with strong reporting and documentation skills.
– Effective leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
