Join our team at Platinum Hydraulics Zambia LTD in Lusaka, Zambia!

We’re seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager / Workshop Manager to lead our hydraulic workshop operations. As part of our team, you’ll oversee repairs, maintenance, and manufacturing activities, ensuring our clients receive top-notch quality and reliability.

Your Responsibilities:

– Lead and manage the hydraulic workshop team, providing guidance and support

– Plan and allocate tasks, ensuring deadlines are met and work is performed to high standards

– Conduct quality checks and inspections to guarantee the integrity of hydraulic components and systems

– Manage inventory, order necessary parts and equipment, and optimize workshop resources

– Collaborate with other departments to meet project requirements

– Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

– Mentor and train team members to enhance their skills and knowledge

– Maintain accurate records and reports related to workshop activities

What We Look For:

– Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

– 5-7 years’ experience in a similar industry, with a focus on hydraulic systems, fabrication, manufacture, and manufacturing welding experience is a must

– Proven technical expertise and leadership skills

– Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills

– Attention to detail and commitment to quality

– Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices

– Relevant technical certifications or qualifications are a plus
