About the Work Environment

  • Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 hours to 16:00 hours, excluding public holidays.
  • Training workshops and laboratories.
  • Occasional outdoor or industrial partner facilities.
  • Exposure to heavy equipment and outdoor field work.
  • Standing and supervising trainees for extended periods.

1. Instructor – Advanced Heavy Duty Mechanic

Number of Positions: One (1)

About the Role

To deliver practical and theoretical training in heavy-duty machinery maintenance to trainees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver structured classroom-based training on heavy-duty equipment systems, including engines, hydraulics, powertrain, steering, braking, and suspension systems.
  • Design and develop detailed lesson plans covering core and advanced topics such as Diesel Engines, Hydraulic Systems, Powertrain & Drivetrain, Electrical and Electronic Systems, CANBUS, Diagnostics, Telematics, and Maintenance Management.
  • Translate technical content into practical, industry-relevant training aligned to operational requirements.
  • Continuously update training materials to reflect equipment advancements, OEM standards, and industry best practices.
  • Support development of laboratories and simulators.
  • Ensure regulatory and safety compliance.
  • Guide trainees in electrical, hydraulic and mechanical diagnostics.
  • Demonstrate use of diagnostic software and measurement equipment.
  • Supervise troubleshooting of electrical, hydraulics and mechanical systems.
  • Teach diagnostics and telematics principles and applications in OEM settings.
  • Maintain training records and support curriculum reviews and improvement.
  • Coordinate closely with workplace mentors to support on-the-job learning.
  • Participate in apprentice progress and review meetings.
  • Design and conduct formative and summative assessments.
  • Maintain accurate assessment and training records.
  • Coach and develop apprentices and trainees.

2. Instructor – Advanced Component Remanufacturing

Number of Positions: One (1)

About the Role

To deliver practical and theoretical training in inspection, diagnostics, remanufacturing and OEM rebuild standards to trainees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop structured lesson plans and training materials to support component remanufacturing and related technical processes.
  • Deliver classroom and workshop-based training covering teardown, inspection, cleaning, machining, non-destructive testing (NDT), metrology, assembly, testing, quality assurance and documentation.
  • Facilitate training on remanufacturing processes, including technical drawing interpretation, precision measurement, failure analysis, root cause analysis, OEM rebuild standards and continuous improvement practices.
  • Support development of laboratories and simulators.
  • Ensure regulatory and safety compliance.
  • Train apprentices in inspection methodologies including visual inspection, dimensional verification, wear analysis and failure identification.
  • Guide apprentices in the application of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods and interpretation of inspection results.
  • Demonstrate machining, restoration and repair processes used to restore components to OEM specifications.
  • Supervise troubleshooting of electrical, hydraulics and mechanical systems.
  • Guide apprentices in root cause analysis methodologies and identification of failure mechanisms.
  • Ensure apprentices maintain accurate remanufacturing records, inspection reports, quality documentation and traceability requirements.
  • Promote adherence to OEM remanufacturing standards, quality systems and continuous improvement practices.
  • Review and validate apprentice logbooks and workplace evidence.
  • Design and conduct formative and summative assessments.
  • Supervise workshop-based practical training.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Teach diagnostics and telematics principles and applications in OEM settings.
  • Maintain training records and support curriculum reviews and improvement.

About the Role

To deliver practical and theoretical training in mobile industrial high-voltage systems, instrumentation, controls, automation, diagnostics and safe HV operations to trainees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop lesson plans covering internal combustion diesel engine technology, advanced hydraulic systems, drivetrain systems, telematics and diagnostics, as well as preventive and predictive maintenance principles.
  • Deliver classroom and workshop-based training on high-voltage (HV) safety, isolation, switching and commissioning procedures.
  • Provide training on instrumentation, sensors, CANBUS, control systems and diagnostic methodologies.
  • Supervise practical HV exercises and fault-finding activities.
  • Conduct assessments and maintain compliance documentation.
  • Support development of laboratories and simulators.
  • Ensure regulatory and safety compliance.
  • Guide trainees in electrical and electronic diagnostics.
  • Demonstrate use of diagnostic software and measurement equipment.
  • Supervise troubleshooting of electrical and control systems.
