Job Description

Sheladia Associates is seeking a professional Team Leader to join our team for upcoming Project Implementation Consultant for the Great North Road (T2) Upgrade project in Zambia, funded by EIB.

The overall objective of the Project is to improve the availability, quality, safety and resilience to climate change on the concerned road section, as well as providing safe conditions for traffic combinations between motorized vehicles, un-motorized vehicles and pedestrians.

Qualifications
University degree (or equivalent) in civil engineering with a focus on infrastructure, particularly highways.
Diploma or certification in project management is an advantage.
Minimum of 15 years work experience in the road sector, covering design, supervision, project planning, implementation, procurement, settlement of contractual disputes.
Minimum experience of 8 years as a Project manager / team leader on road infrastructure projects or programmes, financed by IFIs.
Experience in Sub Saharan Africa in at least 2 projects.
Should be fluent in written and spoken English and be fully computer literate.
