We are therefore inviting applications to fill the following vacant position:
Position: Team Leader – Packaging
Location: Kitwe
Contract: Permanent
Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidates will be accountable for the following:
Executing effective production planning and implementation.
Ensuring 100% availability of raw materials. Physical stock counting of all packaging raw materials.
Documenting all packaging processes and stock movement timeously and accurately.
Generating of accurate and timely daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
Conducting process checks for every brew.
Ensuring 100% availability of good quality product.
Effective utilities management to ensure optimum usage of all utilities.
Effective management of packaging team with sound industrial relations.
Continual improvement of packaging section technical audit scores.
Achieving profitability measures through adhering to cost control measures.
Adherence to SHEQ and Manufacturing Improvement systems.
The job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements and possess the following attributes.
Grade 12 Certificate
Degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Engineering, Production Management, or related science fields
Knowledge of SAP is added advantage.
At least 2 years working experience in FMCG industry.
Good interpersonal skills and team player
Effective communicator, Sober minded, hardworking, and problem-solving skills
