JOB OPPORTUNITY AT SONSHINE SCHOOL: CHEMISTRY/BIOLOGY SECONDARY TEACHER POSITION

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Secondary School Science Teachers specialized mainly in the following combination:

Chemistry and biology.

Responsibilities:

• Teach and inspire the students in sciences
• Develop lesson plans and prepares daily instruction programs
• Evaluates students’ progress and provides progress reports as required
• Strives to maintain professional competence
• Identifies pupil needs in collaboration with other professional staff members and assists in assessing and helping pupils with school related problem.
• Enforces school rules, administrative regulations and board policies.
• Maintains communication with parents, administrators and other professional staff members in order to best serve the interests of students.
• Maintains a safe and orderly work area.
• Performs other duties within the scope of employment and certification as assigned by the principal and/or his/her designee.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

·        Degree in Education from a recognise university

·        Valid Teaching License by TCZ

·        Teaching Practicing Certificate by TCZ

·        Strong classroom management and communication skills

·        Commitment to Christian values and professional ethics
