We are looking for a skilled and motivated System Engineer to join our dynamic technical team and deliver exceptional value to our clients.

About the Role

The System Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and supporting the complex IT infrastructure of our clients. This role is central to our mission and requires hands-on experience across our core service areas, including networking, virtualization, data storage, and security. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a passion for technology and a commitment to customer success.

Responsibilities

Infrastructure Design & Implementation: Design and deploy robust, scalable, and secure IT solutions encompassing networking, security, server infrastructure, and storage systems.
Cloud & Virtualization: Implement and manage virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and support client’s cloud environments.
Network Management: Configure and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls, ensuring high levels of performance and availability.
Cybersecurity Support: Assist in the deployment and management of security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection, to safeguard client assets.
Unified Communications: Deploy and support unified communications systems, including VoIP and video conferencing technologies.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide high-level technical support for complex infrastructure issues and serve as an escalation point for the support team.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for all implemented systems, network configurations, and procedures.

Qualifications

A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a systems engineering, IT infrastructure, network administration, or similar role.

Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Valid ICTAZ practicing license.
Strong proficiency in networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching).
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V).
Experience in configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting systems.
Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows Server, Linux).
Certifications will be an added advantage e.g. CCNA, CCNP, VMware (VCP), Microsoft (MCSA, MCSE), CompTIA (Network+, Security+) etc.
Strong scripting and technical skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Customer-centric approach with a strong sense of ownership.
