QUANTUM LEAP FARM is seeking a dedicated Swimming Club Coordinator to join our team in Ndola, Copperbelt, Zambia. This full-time position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of Aqua Riders Swimming Academy by managing daily administrative tasks, supporting coaching staff, and fostering a positive environment for athlete development. Role Overview: Swimming Club Coordinator Jobs in Ndola

Reporting directly to the Club Manager, the Swimming Club Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day running of the academy. Key responsibilities include managing coaching staff schedules, handling membership administration, coordinating training sessions, and acting as the primary liaison between the club, parents, and external partners. You will also support event logistics for competitions and social activities, helping to maintain a safe and well-organized pool environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Staff Management: Schedule and monitor coaching staff attendance and performance, organize cover for absences, facilitate regular team meetings, and assist with recruitment and induction processes.
  • Administration & Membership: Maintain the membership database, process registrations and renewals, respond promptly to inquiries, manage payments and budgets alongside the Club Manager, and keep accurate attendance and performance records.
  • Session Coordination: Develop and oversee the weekly pool schedule to optimize lane use, and ensure the poolside area is safe, clean, and equipped with necessary training aids.
  • Communication & Marketing: Serve as the main point of contact for parents and stakeholders, prepare newsletters and event communications, and manage the club’s social media presence to highlight achievements and upcoming events.
  • Event & Competition Logistics: Organize internal events such as championships and time trials, coordinate travel and accommodation for external competitions, and liaise with event organizers and swimming governing bodies.

Candidate Profile

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in administrative, coordination, or supervisory roles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience managing or supervising staff is advantageous but not required.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Familiarity with the swimming industry or competitive sports environments.
  • Experience using club management software.
  • Swimming ability is a plus.

Personal Qualities:

  • A positive, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends according to training schedules.
  • Willingness to learn about swimming techniques and pool safety.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
