Introduction

Action Against Hunger Zambia is an International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO) committed to ending world hunger. The organization implements humanitarian and development programs in nutrition, health, water sanitation and hygiene (WASH), food security and livelihoods, emergency response, logistics, and resilience building.

The Zambia Mission operates in compliance with:

Invitation to Apply

Action Against Hunger Zambia invites eligible and qualified suppliers, contractors, consultants, and service providers to apply for supplier prequalification and registration for the supply of goods, works, and services.

This process aims to establish a transparent, competitive, and compliant supplier database to support operations across Zambia.

Who Should Apply

Applications are open to businesses operating in (but not limited to):

  • Program Supplies: Health & Nutrition, WASH, Food Security & Livelihoods, Emergency Response
  • Operational Support: ICT, Office Supplies, Transport & Logistics, Construction, Professional Services, Hospitality & Travel, Facilities Management

Suppliers based in or operating within our impact areas are strongly encouraged to apply and will be given preference during the evaluation process.

Eligibility Requirements (Summary)

Applicants must:

  • Be legally registered
  • Have valid statutory documents (PACRA, ZRA TPIN, Tax Clearance, etc.)
  • Demonstrate technical and financial capacity
  • Provide relevant experience and references
  • Adhere to ethical, safeguarding, and anti-corruption standards

  • Prequalification does not guarantee contract award
  • Incomplete or non-compliant submissions will be disqualified
  • Action Against Hunger maintains zero tolerance for fraud, corruption, and misconduct.
