We are recruiting!

Our Client, in the  lubricants and specialty automotive chemicals , is looking for a Stores Supervisor to join their team in Lusaka, Zambia.

 

A Stores Supervisor oversees the management of inventory, ensuring efficient stock control and smooth warehouse operations. Their role is crucial in maintaining supply chain efficiency and preventing shortages or excess stock.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise inventory management, including stock levels and replenishment.
Ensure proper storage and handling of goods to prevent damage.
Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams for timely deliveries.
Maintain accurate records of stock movements and transactions.
Implement safety and compliance measures in the storage area.
Train and manage storekeeping staff to optimize performance.
Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
Address discrepancies and resolve stock-related issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience in warehouse or inventory management.
Strong knowledge of stock control systems.
Ability to lead and supervise storekeeping teams.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
