Role Overview: Software Development Integrations Jobs in Kalumbila
Reporting to the Senior Specialist – Business Improvement, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that enhance data accessibility and operational innovation. This position involves close collaboration with data professionals, business analysts, and operational teams to build and maintain system integrations, automate workflows, and create tools that improve efficiency across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to gather and analyse software requirements and project goals.
- Identify and prioritise opportunities to improve business processes through system integration.
- Design, conduct, and automate integration, load, and performance testing, including test data and account setup.
- Monitor integration performance proactively; troubleshoot and resolve issues, reporting to relevant teams and stakeholders.
- Assist in designing data collection systems and implementing data quality control procedures.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to address specific software needs within mining operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative business improvement solutions.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and support data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET Core/ASP.NET Core, and T-SQL.
- Experience with Azure cloud integration and data engineering.
- Familiarity with system integration technologies such as RESTful APIs, SOAP, OAUTH 2.0, event brokers, and data virtualisation.
- Report writing capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a delivery-focused mindset.
- Effective communication skills with strong active listening abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Experience and Educational Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years’ experience in a Software Development & Integrations role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
