INVITATION TO TENDER 

SOS/NO 020/08/2026: TENDER FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A BOUNDARY WALL FENCE AT KAFUE BRIDGE /ESTHER LUNGU SECONDARY SCHOOL-KITWE

SOS Children’s Villages Zambia invites suitably qualified and experienced construction contractors to submit bids for the construction of an approximately 254-metre boundary wall fence at Kafue Bridge / Esther Lungu Secondary School, Kitwe.

1.SCOPE OF WORKS

The works comprise site preparation and setting out, foundation and concrete works, construction of a six-inch block wall, reinforcement, backfilling, construction and installation of gates, and all labour, materials, equipment, transport and associated works required for a complete and functional boundary wall.

2. MANDATORY ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

·               Valid PACRA Certificate of Incorporation/Registration.

·               Valid ZRA Tax Clearance Certificate.

·               Valid NCC registration in the appropriate category/grade.

·               At least three (3) successfully completed similar construction projects within the last five years, supported by evidence.

·               Company profile, key technical personnel details/CVs and client references.

·               EIZ registration of the responsible engineer, where engineering design, certification or professional supervision is required.

·               Completed financial quotation/BOQ and construction methodology.

·               Acceptance of SOS Children’s Villages Zambia safeguarding, health and safety requirements and payment terms.

3.SITE VISIT

Site visit is mandatory and will be conducted by prior appointment. Bidders must register their attendance. Site visit requests must be made by 28 August 2026.

4.KEY DATES

·      Site Visit Request Deadline-28^th August 2026

·      Tender Submission Deadline-4^th September 2026

5.SUBMISSION

Bids must be submitted electronically to Procurement.NO@sos-zambia.org by the deadline above. Late submissions will not be considered. Email subject: “TENDER FOR CONSTRUCTION OF BOUNDARY WALL FENCE – SOS/NO 020/08/2026”.
