Job description

The Solar Technician will oversee project development, technical assistance, trouble shooting and solving problems reported in the field by customers regarding their solar kit/system. Train the sales agents and other technicians in charge of customer installations on the operations and installation of products

Job Description
Training sales agents on the products operations and installation of the products.
Perform timely diagnostics and repair on all customers on all practical issues and actions. Regular improvement of all the existing processes in the department.
Responsible for the technical after sales services, being the main contact for customers aid and advice on the solar system and its use.
Troubleshoot solar systems components and identify problems.
Be the main contact for technical problems in the field.
Perform testing, trouble shooting and repair of electrical systems and solar equipment.
Document on work performed and components used.
Assist product management teams in defining and improving the customer experience.
Training of employees to understand technical and all aspect of solar products.
Waste Management ensure non – use products are dismantled and prepared for waste disposal as per waste management standard policy.

Candidate Specification
Experience: 2 years plus
Education Level: Diploma Level
Qualifications: Diploma in Electrical & Electronics
Software: MS Office
Knowledge Of: Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical faults.
Other Requirements; A Degree is an added advantage.
